Role
Artyc is on a mission to modernize cold chain logistics with reusable, active coolers. We are committed to reducing spoilage, eliminating single-use waste, and increasing access to cold-storage products. As a team and company, we are devoted to environmental and social impact; Artyc is a registered Public Benefit Corporation.
As Artyc’s first Account Executive, you will independently own the sales cycle — from identifying opportunities to closing deals. This is a hunter role: you will build and execute a plan, prospect, and win business with hospitals, clinical research sites, medical logistics providers, pharmacies, and mobile health companies. Your focus will be revenue and you’ll be measured on pipeline creation, deal velocity, and quota attainment. You will report to Artyc’s Head of Business Strategy, with a dotted line to the CEO.
We are looking for someone who is disciplined about process and skilled at opening doors with life sciences decision makers. The ideal candidate is metrics-driven, meticulous about CRM hygiene, and treats the pipeline like a living system. Someone who can whale-hunt while managing several smaller deals at the same time.
What you’ll do:
Develop and execute a sales plan: build and maintain target account list across our verticals with a focus on three main areas (1) Specialty Pharmacies, (2) Clinical Research (CROs, CDMOs) and (3) Universities and Biotechs.
Own your funnel: prospect – cold calls, in person visits, conferences, run discovery, develop proposals, manage pilots, close deals
Maintain pipeline discipline: keep CRM data accurate, forecast reliably, and ensure pipeline coverage
Track progress: constantly measure activity, customer feedback, and report metrics

Preferred Skills:
Automate pipeline management
Independently write and manage contract process
Forecast and financial model (e.g. ROI analysis)
Ability to build new customer-focused features and tools
Clearly defined project management structure – metrics reporting is second nature
