As a Staff Software Engineer at Artyc, you will be helping us build best-in-class web and mobile applications with a close-knit team. We are looking for passionate, highly skilled individuals to join our team and be part of growing their respective organizations within the company. What you’ll do:
With the launch of Artyc’s second product, the Medstow 5L-I, we’re looking to bring on a Head of Software. The company is currently at an exciting inflection point as we deploy more units and generate more data, and we’re looking for the right person to take us to the next level. You’ll own the web and mobile applications end to end, improving the infrastructure while shipping new features for pharma customers. You’ll be leading Artyc’s software team, including directly managing other software engineers.
Required Skills:
You should be excited to write code and lean in (likely 80 IC - 20 Mgt) starting out, and then begin to switch to a more managerial role in the next 18 months, as we grow the team
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field with 10+ years of relevant experience
Experience with most of the following technologies: Typescript, React, React Native, Node.js, MongoDB, MQTT
Have deployed software product to customers and managed the entire process

Background with IoT products
Published mobile apps that are being used at scale
